About Us

We are a three generation farm in Southwest Missouri.  Located in Lawrence County, the Matthews Farm was originally started in 1958.  Two generations of Matthews men are now gone, but Lisa remains on the farm with two additional generations.  JD and his wife Jessa, along with their three children Owen, Maddie and Kastin.  The women of the farm are instrumental in the poultry production, calling ourselves the "Fowl Females".  We accept help from Kastin when it comes to chore time.  JD and Owen get involved with the bigger projects as they are needed.  Our goal is to raise and process multiple types of poultry along with a variety of eggs to suit your needs.  We strive to provide quality foods from our farm to your table.
